First of its kind- An online repository of digital academic
documents, integrated with NEGD’s Digital Locker - launched
by CBSE in 2016. Result data of Class X & XII examinees of
the last twenty-two years i.e., 2001-2022 is available for
download by students and verification by employers and
higher education institutions. Further, digitization of legacy
results from 1975 onwards is under progress which will make
the repository the largest in the world.
Alongside the result declaration, all three digital academic documents viz. migration certificate, marks sheets
and passing certificates become immediately available for download. This is a credential-based access which
is communicated to examinees in advance.
Ease offerings:
Reduction in time for delivery of documents from 3-6 months to instant availability
Duplicate document requisition needs eliminated
Documents may be accessed on Digital Locker using AADHAR also. Face Matching technology assisted access
enabled for foreign students, due to unavailability of Aadhar or Indian mobile
Integration with e-Sanad of MEA for e-Apostle of digital documents for students going abroad for higher
studies or employment
Special features:
Documents are digitally signed and have PKI based QR code for authentication
API based bulk verification is also available to Higher Education Institutions & Govt Employers
Document access is based on 6-digit Security PIN, issued to every student, and communicated via their school
In addition to above, CBSE in technical collaboration with Centre of Excellence for BlockChain Technology of
National Informatics Centre under Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India has
come up with a solution using Blockchain Technology named as “Academic {Blockchain} Documents (ABCD)”.
Blockchain Technology ensures that academic documents are recorded in a secure and tamper proof manner.
These academic documents can be accessed online in a trusted and verifiable manner.
